Important Financial Aid Information
Due to the recent enactment of a new federal law, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, all colleges and universities must use the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program for new federal student loans starting July 1, 2010. In this program, students borrow loan funds directly from the federal government. Up to this point, our school has participated in the Federal Family Education Loan Program, or FFELP, through which our students were able to select the lender to fund their Stafford and PLUS loans.
Starting with loans made this summer, the Direct Loan Program will serve as your lender and servicer for the life of your loan.
Information on how to apply for your Direct Loan Stafford and Graduate Plus will be made available to you once the Department of Education informs us of the new process.
