A loan option that covers the difference between the Cost of Attendance and other financial aid received.

Students who are not eligible for federal aid may still be eligible for private funding through private lenders such as Sallie Mae.

Eligibility for private alternative loans often depends on the student’s credit score. Therefore, a cosigner may be required. Also, private loans tend to cost more than education loans offered by the Federal government, but are less expensive than credit card debt.

You may be eligible to take advantage of significant VA benefits. Contact your local Veterans Administration Regional Office representative before requesting enrollment verification for your Medical School for VA benefits.
