Enjoying a wonderful evening at Galpão Gaucho in Irvine, California — with a delicious salad bar and shrimp, chicken, and beef skewers — while cheering for the LA Dodgers in Game 7 of the World Series!

Dr. Adolfo Sáez, head of the UAG Alumni California Chapter, shared inspiring words with both new members and returning alumni, highlighting the importance of connection, collaboration, and UAG pride.

UAG

The California Chapter continues to grow steadily, and our community is excited about the opportunities ahead — brainstorming ideas to strengthen our network and make it even more beneficial for all members.

We also received a kind and thoughtful message from Mrs. Susana Leaño, Vice Dean of International Affairs, reminding us that UAG takes great pride in our alumni’s achievements — and that sharing our stories of success and perseverance helps us grow together as a global community.

Distinguished alumni in attendance included Dr. Russel Gross `75 Dr Mark Sobers `78, Dr. Fatima Magina, `00, Dr. Jose Sanchez `00, Dr. Joanna Ayala `99, Dr. Abel Quesada `00, Dr. Sarah Marcus, 09, Dr. Arash Samian `12, Dr. Natalie Batta `09, Beatriz Cabrera arquitect `01, Amy Morioka 22.

Dr. Sáez made sure to connect personally with each attendee, encouraging participation in UAG alumni initiatives and sparking ideas for future collaborations and fun get-togethers.

As the evening came to a close, and the Dodger won their back to back world series, the UAG spirit reminded us that no mater where life takes you:

Once UAG, always UAG!
