At the UAG School of Medicine, we do not simply consider a student’s MCAT and GPA to determine admission into our program. Instead, we employ a holistic approach to reviewing every application because we believe that every student possesses a unique skill set, emotional maturity, a capacity and passion for learning medicine, and a commitment to helping us create a healthier world. As part of our commitment to student success, we provide a range of academic support services to our students. These services include HMX, the National Medical Board of Examiners, Cram Fighter, Medical School Companion, and Amboss.
The third and fourth years of our program are designed to provide students with an unparalleled clinical experience. During this time students have the unique opportunity to complete their clinical clerkships in a variety of hospital settings throughout the United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. We invite all Pre-Med Advisors to attend our upcoming Pre-Med Advisor Conference. The conference will be held in October of 2023 in Guadalajara, Jalisco. This week-long conference will provide Pre-Med Advisors with the opportunity to experience first-hand the language, history, and rich culture that Guadalajara has to offer, as well as an opportunity to visit the new state-of-the-art campus for our International School of Medicine.
