At UAG School of Medicine, our admissions process is designed to be straightforward and supportive, guiding you smoothly from application to acceptance. The process includes three key stages:
1. Initial Application Review: Our admissions team carefully evaluates your academic background, test scores, and supporting documents to assess your qualifications.
2. Interview Invitation: Qualified candidates are invited for an interview, where we’ll discuss your motivations, goals, and readiness to join our program.
3. Final Decision: After the interview, your application undergoes a comprehensive final review, and you’ll be promptly notified of the admissions decision.

This step-by-step process ensures that every applicant is given careful consideration while maintaining a clear and efficient path to starting your medical career at UAG.

why the uag medical
school interview matters
UAG School of Medicine Admission Requirements

At UAG School of Medicine, the personal interview is a key part of our holistic admissions process. It’s a vital opportunity for us to learn more about you, your qualifications, and how well you’re suited for our program.

If your academic and personal credentials meet our program standards, you’ll be invited to interview with one of our admissions counselors. Typically, interviews are scheduled within two to four weeks after we receive your application materials.

During the interview, our admissions committee will assess your academic background, personal experiences, character, adaptability, and—most importantly—your passion for becoming a doctor. While receiving an interview invitation is a positive step, it doesn’t guarantee acceptance, but it plays a significant role in our final decision.

More information about you and your interest in medicine is something we're looking forward to.

What to Expect After Your UAG Medical School Interview?
After your interview, your admissions counselor will reach out to request the necessary supporting documents to complete your application. Once your file is complete, the Admissions Committee will thoroughly review your qualifications. If you meet our admissions criteria, your enrollment in UAG School of Medicine will be approved.

All documents and transcripts must be mailed to:

How does UAG review applications?
add
Our UAG Admissions Committee takes a holistic and comprehensive approach when reviewing applications. We consider both the academic metrics—such as GPA and completed coursework—as well as the qualities that make each applicant unique. Beyond the numbers, we carefully assess your personal statement, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and any healthcare-related experience. Our goal is to get to know you as both a student and a future healthcare professional, ensuring that we select candidates who are not only academically prepared but also demonstrate the passion, resilience, and commitment needed to succeed in medical school and beyond.

Can I apply with Unofficial transcripts?
