PATH PROGRAM

Providing Assistance for Travel and Hospitality

The PATH Programs was designed to support first or second-time UAG match applicants during the residency interview process. By connecting applicants with alumni for lodging, mentorship, or virtual guidance, these programs help reduce stress, lower costs, and provide valuable insight for the next stage of their medical careers.

About PATH
The PATH Program helps medical students reduce travel costs during residency interviews by providing free lodging with alumni volunteers.
Alumni Connections
Match applicants gain firsthand insight into specialties, residency programs, and regional opportunities through meaningful conversations with alumni physicians.
Residency Guidance
Match applicants receive personalized advice on training, medical centers, and local communities, supporting informed career decisions.
Focused Interview Experience
By easing the burden of travel and logistics, PATH allows students to concentrate on their interviews with greater confidence.
For alumni, PATH is a rewarding way to mentor future physicians, remain connected to the university, and make a lasting impact.
Virtual Access
The ePATH Program extends the benefits of PATH into a virtual format, developed in response to changes in the residency interview process.
Nationwide Network

Through phone or Zoom conversations, students connect with alumni across the country to explore specialties, institutions, and regions without the need for travel.
