MATCH 2026 is not a milestone. It is proof of a deliberate pathway built from Day 1.
Residency is not an afterthought at UAG School of Medicine. It is the objective — and MATCH 2026 reflects what happens when that commitment is structural, not symbolic.
UAG School of Medicine proudly announces an 81% residency match achievement for MATCH 2026. These are not numbers on a page. They are students who arrived with determination, trained with purpose, and matched into residency programs across the United States and Puerto Rico.
This is what intentional preparation looks like.
At UAG School of Medicine, the path to residency begins the moment students begin. No waiting. No reactive preparation. No last-minute pivots. From the first semester, students are trained, advised, and mentored with one clear direction: Match.
That preparation is built on a foundation that includes:
“Residency is not an afterthought at UAG School of Medicine. It is the objective. This achievement reflects the resilience of our students, the dedication of our faculty and advisors, and the strength of the support systems we continue building to help our students succeed.” — Dr. Kashif Ahmad
MATCH 2026 results include placements through Main Match, SOAP, and additional residency placements across multiple specialties and institutions. Behind every match is years of preparation — discipline, mentorship, and the courage to pursue a goal that requires more than capability. It requires commitment.
Our students are resilient. They are multicultural, bilingual, and determined. They are not defined by a single moment. They are defined by what they built across years of training — in Guadalajara and in clinical settings across North America.
“Behind every match result is years of preparation, mentorship, discipline, and support. Our focus is helping students prepare strategically for residency from the start of their journey.” — Graduate Affairs & Career Advising (GACA) Team.
Located in one of the most dynamic medical ecosystems in Latin America, UAG School of Medicine offers more than academic preparation. It develops the kind of physician modern medicine demands — one with cultural competence, clinical adaptability, and systems awareness forged in a city rich with patient diversity.
This is not a backup plan. This is a deliberate pathway. And MATCH 2026 proves it.
