In a grand celebration of its storied legacy, the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) marked the 90th anniversary of its founding with a spectacular event held at Estadio Tres de Marzo. 

We proudly announce that Dr. Kashif Ahmad, Dean of the UAG School of Medicine, has been invited to be a distinguished speaker at the University Impact Forum: Health & Well-being 2024.

The Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) is proud to announce that one of our distinguished alumni, Dr. José Carlos Rivera Baiges, has been awarded a prestigious supplementary scholarship by the Triple-S Foundation, in collaboration with the Community Foundation.

Organized by the International Medicine Program, this event is just one of the many incredible experiences students await when beginning their studies at UAG.

On April 23rd, in honor of International Book Day, the library halls at UAG School of Medicine were buzzing with excitement.

During the recent Premed Advisors Summit 2024, a special moment unfolded as Dr. Aristides Colón Peña, an esteemed alumnus of the UAG School of Medicine, crossed paths with the newly appointed Dean, Dr. Kashif Ahmad. Dr. Colón Peña, the keynote speaker for the event, took a moment to reconnect with his alma mater and exchange pleasantries with Dr. Ahmad, who now leads the medical school.

The Premed Advisors Summit: Let’s Make Doctors 2024, hosted by UAG School of Medicine, was a resounding success, fostering stronger ties with premedical advisors and providing them with an immersive experience of the ethos of the institution.

The UAG School of Medicine is thrilled to welcome Dr. Daniel A. Llano as a distinguished visiting professor.
