


As part of its 90th anniversary, UAG hosted “The Experience By UAG,” where International Program medical students showcased faculty-mentored academic projects and a TED-style talk, highlighting innovation, creativity, and the university’s commitment to world-class medical education.

Over the past two weeks, UAG hosted Student Information Sessions across several states and Puerto Rico, giving aspiring physicians and their supporters an inside look at the MD program, curriculum, and admissions process.


On July 25, UAG School of Medicine hosted its Interest Group Fair, featuring 25 student-led booths that highlighted medical interest groups and programs, fostering community, engagement, and leadership.


The UAG School of Medicine welcomed the Class of 2029—160 future physicians from the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico—into its International Medical Program, marking the start of their transformative journey in medicine.


On June 6, 2025, 222 UAG International Medical Program graduates from Puerto Rico and the U.S. celebrated their commencement, marking the culmination of their studies and the start of their journey as medical professionals.


On May 31st, the UAG Alumni Association launched the Austin Chapter with a lively mixer at La Popular, uniting graduates to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate their shared UAG experience.
