The UAG School of Medicine is expanding U.S. clinical opportunities, with Florida now approved for long-term clerkships starting in 2026, giving students access to diverse hospitals and patient populations to prepare for residency and medical careers.


UAG Social Service Interns Mariana Ramírez Ruvalcaba and Itzel Sofía Simpson Sagahon presented a groundbreaking case report on a rare brain tumor at the XVIII Mexican Congress of Neurosurgery, marking the first time UAG interns have showcased research at this prestigious event.

This week, members of the Student Interest Group in Neurology (SIGN) took part in an engaging and immersive Neuro Exam Workshop for Infants, led by the distinguished Dr. Álvarez at the Center for Simulated Patient Care on our International Campus.
