


UAG Social Service Interns Mariana Ramírez Ruvalcaba and Itzel Sofía Simpson Sagahon presented a groundbreaking case report on a rare brain tumor at the XVIII Mexican Congress of Neurosurgery, marking the first time UAG interns have showcased research at this prestigious event.


On July 24, 2025, over 100 first-semester UAG medical students attended their first B1 Review Session, led by student TAs, to strengthen knowledge, practice clinical thinking, and prepare for USMLE-style assessments.

Twelve years after graduating high school, Marco Aguilar is now a medical doctor preparing for his final exams in surgery and internal medicine, following a journey that included studying biomedical science at Northern Arizona University and gaining life-changing ER experience in Spain.
