At UAG, we are proud to see our alumni continue making an impact in medicine and serving communities across the United States.
Dr. Jorge Vendrell, UAG alumnus, has recently begun practicing as a board-certified family medicine physician, continuing a journey that began with his medical education at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG).
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Vendrell completed his family medicine residency with HCA Healthcare in Florida. His experience also includes emergency medicine in Puerto Rico, where he is originally from.
Today, Dr. Vendrell brings his experience and commitment to patient-centered care to his work in family medicine. His areas of interest include preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, community health, and both women’s and men’s health. He also provides care in both English and Spanish.
For Dr. Vendrell, medicine is about more than treating individual conditions. His approach emphasizes listening to patients, understanding their goals, and building relationships that support their health throughout different stages of life.
His continued growth as a physician reflects the dedication and commitment that define our UAG alumni community. We are proud to celebrate Dr. Vendrell as he continues to build his career and make a difference through medicine.
Congratulations, Dr. Vendrell, on this exciting next chapter! We are proud to call you a UAG alumni.
