We are excited to share that several of our faculty members—among them Dr. Kashif Ahmad, Dean of UAG School of Medicine, and Dr. Lucia Elizabeth Álvarez Palazuelos—have recently published on the ScholarRx Bricks platform, with our contributions now live and accessible worldwide.

ScholarRx Bricks are interactive high-yield digital learning modules aligned with USMLE content. They are designed to help medical students connect foundational science with clinical practice offering an innovative way to learn, review, and apply key medical concepts.

Dr. Kashif Ahmad and Dr. Lucia Álvarez collaborated as co-authors on multiple Bricks on the ScholarRx platform, including Cardiac Channelopathies and Acute Abdomen. Both faculty members worked closely with the primary authors and with international faculty and students to develop these high yield learning resources.
Tao L., who is the Chief Education Officer, shared:

"We are honored to feature the work of UAG faculty on the ScholarRx Brick Exchange. Their contributions not only enrich our global library of high-yield digital learning modules but also highlight the power of collaboration in medical education. By bringing together faculty, students, and partners from around the world, we can create and share resources that help learners bridge the gap between foundational science and clinical practice."

"I am excited to see faculty led by Dr. Lucia Álvarez write bricks for ScholarRx, a platform that has wholeheartedly helped medical educators across the world. The published bricks from UAG School of Medicine opens room for scholarship with ScholarRx. I want to thank them for including us in the global learner’s community. Congrats to all the authors at UAG!"
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this global learning resource and extend our appreciation to ScholarRx for their support and collaboration. At UAG, we remain committed to advancing medical education and growing collectively in alignment with the highest academic standards.
