The presentation focused on the innovative strategies and transformative initiatives implemented within UAG School of Medicine’s International Program, emphasizing student-centered learning, academic excellence, and the adoption of global best practices in medical education.

Reflecting on the experience,
Dr. Ahmad shared:
" It was exciting time to represent the UAG at the International Higher Education of Teaching and Learning Conference. They had 400 abstracts submitted and only 200 got selected so it is really an honor. I lived in UAE for 18 years and always amazed as how universities like Middlesex University and Higher Colleges of Technology have expanded their footprint in education. At UAGSOM we continue to expand these best practices and look of innovative teaching. Congrats to Dr. Patrick Blessinger and all the visionaries of HETL and thank for your giving us the opportunity to come and present in Dubai."

A Shared Achievement

The presentation was awarded Second Place in the Transformative Leadership in Global Higher Education section of the conference, an achievement that reflects the collective efforts of the entire team and UAG School of Medicine’s ongoing commitment to innovation, leadership, and student success.

UAG School of Medicine extends its sincere congratulations to
Dr. Kashif Ahmad and all supporting contributors for this well-deserved international recognition. Their work continues to elevate UAG’s presence on the global academic stage and reinforces the university’s mission to lead through innovation, collaboration, and excellence in medical education.
