On July 15, 2025, first-semester medical students at UAG School of Medicine participated in an interactive, generation-wide workshop focused on one of the most critical pillars of medicine: the patient-physician relationship.
Through the Clinical Skills Development (CSD) Program, students not only begin practicing clinical skills in their first semester—they also explore the deeper human dimensions of care, including communication, empathy, and ethical conduct.
The dynamic approach included interactive questions, peer engagement, and an innovative icebreaker: students grouped themselves by their personal interests—music, film, food, and sports—creating an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
This session reflects UAG’s holistic approach to medical education, preparing future doctors not only with technical skills, but with the compassion and interpersonal intelligence needed for exceptional patient care.
