On August 26th, UAG Alumni from 1976 to 2025 gathered at Margaritaville in Chicago for a memorable reunion, sharing stories, reconnecting, and celebrating the lasting impact of their alma mater.
Tuesday August 26th Alumni from across the generations gathered at Margaritaville for the much- anticipated reunion of the UAG Chicago Alumni Chapter. The event brought together graduates from as early as 1976 to as recent as 2025, creating an unforgettable evening.
The reunions served as a testament to the enduring bond formed through the UAG experience. From heartfelt conversations about medical rotations to favorite food spots and classroom stories, the evening was a reminder of the university’s lasting impact on the lives of its graduates.
Alumni were warmly welcomed by Dr. Luis Diaz, President of the Chicago Chapter, who expressed his gratitude for the turnout and emphasized the importance of building a local alumni community that continues to uplift and support one another. His words reflected the passion and dedication fueling the chapter’s continued growth.
Special thanks were extended to Ms. Susana Leaño, Vice President of International Affairs, and Alumni Director José Ramos, both of whom traveled to Chicago for the occasion. Ms. Leaño highlighted how alumni chapters like Chicago are vital bridges between past and present, providing mentorship opportunities and celebrating the global influence of UAG graduates. Mr. Ramos echoed those sentiments, encouraging alumni to take pride in their shared roots and stay actively involved in future chapter activities.
With a vibrant spirit of friendship and a strong sense of purpose, the Chicago Chapter reunion was more than just a celebration—it was a renewal of the UAG legacy in the Midwest. The chapter looks forward to future gatherings and continued engagement with alumni throughout the region.
