About the Conference
“Doing It in the Desert” gathered clinicians, researchers, and public health leaders from across the country to share innovative solutions and operational tools for tackling infectious diseases. The event placed special focus on bridging the gap between research and practice providing real-world strategies for reaching communities most affected by hepatitis C, HIV, and substance use disorders.
