Journey Continues: UAG Student Information Sessions

UAG continues its Student Information Sessions across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, connecting with future physicians and sharing insights into its global medical education—next stop, California!

UAG is continuing the cross-country journey with Student Information Sessions (SIS), building on the momentum of our first stops earlier this season. These events bring UAG directly to future physicians, creating a unique opportunity for students to meet our admissions team, ask questions about the application process, and gain insight into the academic and cultural experiences that make UAG an exceptional place to study medicine.

Building Connections Across the Southwest
This leg of the tour began in the Rio Grande Valley, with Brownsville, Texas, serving as an energizing start. There, we met with aspiring medical students eager to learn how UAG could help shape their careers in healthcare. From Brownsville, our team continued across Texas, meeting motivated individuals who shared their dreams of becoming physicians.
The journey then carried us westward, stopping in New Mexico and later pausing in Phoenix, Arizona. Each event underscored the value of face-to-face conversations. Students gained clarity on admissions requirements, heard first-hand about UAG’s long history of medical education, and connected with a university committed to preparing them for a global healthcare landscape.

Reaching Puerto Rico
The most recent highlight of this leg was San Juan, Puerto Rico. Here, UAG met with passionate students whose enthusiasm reaffirmed the purpose of these sessions. Families and attendees expressed a deep interest in international medical education and the unique opportunities UAG offers. The event was filled with insightful questions, thoughtful discussions, and a genuine sense of excitement about the possibility of pursuing medicine abroad.
