New York City, New York Jun 13, 2022 - A committed family physician, Dr. Zuniga works with patients at EDGE Family Medicine in Upland California. Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Zuniga graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry from California State University Long Beach and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He then went on to complete the University of Kansas Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, accredited by the American Academy of Family Physicians, and was nominated chief resident in his final year at the program.
Dr. Zuniga attained board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.
As for his academic appointments, he serves as volunteer Clinical Faculty at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
