Dr. Colin Sanner, a seasoned neurologist and a Class of 2001 graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, has made a significant career transition. He is now exclusively dedicated to his role as a neurologist at the Baptist Health System, San Antonio, having moved on from his previous affiliation with Baylor Scott & White Neurosciences Clinic in Waco, Texas.

With a broad spectrum of expertise, Dr. Sanner's neurology practice encompasses diverse areas such as movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, EEG, Parkinson’s disease, telemedicine, acquired brain injury, headaches, neuroscience, epilepsy care, hospital medicine, and neuroimaging, among others.

His journey to becoming a neurologist began with an internship in
internal medicine at Westchester Medical Center from 2002-2003, followed by a comprehensive neurology residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson from 2003-2006.
Dr. Sanner's commitment to his field is reflected in his board-certification in neurology and his status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a reputable not-for-profit corporation dedicated to supporting and serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Neurologists like Dr. Sanner play a vital role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system, encompassing the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Their extensive training and expertise enable them to evaluate patients' mental and physical conditions, conduct essential medical tests and scans, and utilize their findings to provide precise diagnoses and effective treatments. Dr. Sanner's commitment to the well-being of his patients remains unwavering as he continues his journey in neurology with Baptist Health System, San Antonio.
