UAG Alumni Connections Continue Across Generations

The UAG School of Medicine alumni network continues to connect graduates across generations, creating lasting relationships and a supportive community throughout their medical careers.
By: Dr. Manuel Alejandro Cruz
07/Ago/2026
The UAG School of Medicine alumni network extends far beyond the classroom, and often brings graduates together in unexpected places.

While attending the AAFP FUTURE conference in Kansas City, Dr. Manuel Alejandro Cruz connected with a UAG graduate from December 2018, who is now a third-year resident at Riverside. The connection was even more meaningful knowing that her sister, who also attended UAG, graduated in the same class as Dr. Cruz.

Moments like this highlight the lasting connections within the UAG community. From Guadalajara to residency programs and professional conferences across the United States, UAG graduates continue to build relationships, support one another, and stay connected throughout their medical careers.

And the network continues to grow. Through these connections, Dr. Alejandro Cruz is also working to connect with additional UAG alumni in Southern California, another example of how the UAG community continues to come together long after graduation.

At UAG, your alumni network is more than a connection. It’s a community that grows with you.
