UAG graduates Dr. Mayralis Cortes and Dr. Gabriel Omar Estrada are making an impact beyond borders through a medical mission in the Dominican Republic, embodying the spirit of service and leadership of the UAG community.

We are proud to highlight two outstanding UAG graduates from the Class of 2016, Dr. Mayralis Cortes and Dr. Gabriel Omar Estrada, who are currently in the Dominican Republic participating in a medical mission with OneWorld Surgery through Humana.

Their dedication to serving others and bringing compassionate medical care to communities in need is a beautiful reflection of the values of our UAG community.

We are especially proud to recognize Dr. Cortes, who also serves as Co-Chair of the UAG San Antonio Alumni Chapter, continuing to make a difference not only through her work in medicine but also through her commitment to staying connected with and supporting fellow UAG alumni.

We are proud to see our graduates using their medical careers to serve, lead, and make an impact beyond borders.
