UAG Alumni Family Reunites in McAllen
McAllen, Texas—where community and tradition meet—was the setting for another unforgettable reunion of our UAG Alumni Family. At Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, graduates from different generations came together to reconnect, share their journeys, and celebrate their lifelong bond with the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.
The evening was filled with warmth, lively conversations, and stories that bridged decades of experiences. From recent graduates beginning their residency paths to accomplished physicians leading practices and initiatives, the gathering reflected the diversity, strength, and heart of UAG’s global alumni community.
A Night of Connection
The event was hosted by José Ramos, Alumni Director, alongside Samuel Von Ayala President of the McAllen Alumni Chapter, whose dedication to building bridges with graduates in the United States continues to strengthen UAG’s alumni network. His words reminded everyone of the value of staying connected—not only for professional growth and networking but also to celebrate the human side of medicine and the empathy that defines UAG graduates.
Building a Stronger Community
This gathering was more than just a dinner; it was a renewal of commitment between UAG and its alumni. With sincerity and gratitude, UAG leadership expressed appreciation for the alumni’s achievements and acknowledged the need to reconnect more deeply moving forward. The goal is simple: to create a community where graduates can support each other, share opportunities, and continue demonstrating the values of excellence and service instilled in Guadalajara.
UAG’s Enduring Legacy
