UAG alumni in San Antonio came together at Chama Gaucha to celebrate a traditional posada, strengthen community ties, and kick off the holiday season with shared memories, meaningful conversations, and plans for the future.
The day after the Celebration of the Virgin of Guadalupe, alumni from the UAG Alumni Association – San Antonio Chapter gathered at Chama Gaucha to begin the holiday season with our traditional posadas and enjoy a wonderful luncheon graciously hosted by Mrs. Susana Leaño.
The event brought together alumni from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including Dr. Mayralis de Jesus, Dr. José J. Monsiváis, Dr. Jimena Cervantes, Rubén Quiroz, José Ramos, Giovana Gudiño, Arturo Barriga, Richard Jones, Leonardo Valenzuela, Martha Castro, and Alfredo Villalvazo.
Over a beautifully prepared meal featuring fresh salads and an excellent Brazilian rodizio, the UAG San Antonio Chapter celebrated the strong and vibrant community it has built in the city. Alumni also shared ideas and began planning community service initiatives and social gatherings for 2026.
During the luncheon, Mrs. Susana Leaño delivered a heartfelt message, thanking the alumni for always representing UAG with excellence and pride wherever they go.
The gathering was filled with memories, smiles, and meaningful conversations, and the Tecos Spirit was truly strengthened as we listened to and shared our diverse personal and professional experiences.
