
The Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) is delighted to celebrate the professional achievements of Dr. Eric R. Guerra, a distinguished graduate of the UAG School of Medicine.
Dr. Guerra has recently joined AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Dalton and AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Calhoun, where he will continue his exceptional work in advancing cardiovascular care.
Dr. Guerra’s impressive medical journey reflects his dedication to excellence and compassionate care. After earning his medical degree at UAG in Jalisco, Mexico, Dr. Guerra completed his residency in internal medicine at Drew University Medical Center in Los Angeles.
His advanced training includes fellowship programs in vascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, cardiology at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, and interventional cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Board-certified in interventional cardiology, vascular medicine, and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Guerra is a testament to UAG’s mission of preparing global leaders in medicine. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, he exemplifies the values of cultural competence and patient-centered care that define our alumni.
Dr. Guerra’s commitment to listening to his patients and providing compassionate, collaborative care is inspiring. At UAG, we take great pride in the success of our graduates and their contributions to improving health and well-being around the world.
