In October 2024, the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) School of Medicine proudly hosted the “Let’s Make Doctors” Pre-Med Advisor Summit in the vibrant and historic city of Guadalajara, Mexico. This notable event brought together pre-med advisors and educators from across the United States, promoting collaboration between advisors, professors, and UAG in a shared commitment to training future doctors and contributing to the U.S. healthcare system.

The summit was designed to offer participants a deeper understanding of UAG’s comprehensive medical education program, including its innovative curriculum, focus on clinical skills development, and commitment to student success. Through a series of presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions, participants explored how UAG prepares students for the challenges of modern medicine.
Advisors were introduced to UAG's approach, which combines hands-on learning with advanced simulation technology and real-world medical practice.
