UAG’s Commitment to Medical Education in Puerto Rico

At the Premed Advisors Summit 2024, UAG School of Medicine alumnus and keynote speaker Dr. Aristides Colón Peña reconnected with his alma mater and met with newly appointed Dean Dr. Kashif Ahmad.

During the recent Premed Advisors Summit 2024, a special moment unfolded as Dr. Aristides Colón Peña, an esteemed alumnus of the UAG School of Medicine, crossed paths with the newly appointed Dean, Dr. Kashif Ahmad. Dr. Colón Peña, the keynote speaker for the event, took a moment to reconnect with his alma mater and exchange pleasantries with Dr. Ahmad, who now leads the medical school.

Returning to UAG's campus stirred up a whirlwind of emotions for Dr. Colón Peña. The memories of his time as a student flooded back, reminding him of the formative experiences that paved the way for his successful career in medicine.
