New York City, New York Apr 20, 2022 - An experienced pain management specialist, Dr. Klepp works with patients at Interventional Pain Professionals of Florida, serving patients in the Lake Worth and Plantation areas. She maintains an open ear for her patients at all times. If it hurts, she cares.
Her expertise extends to both acute and chronic pain. Once the source of pain is identified, she offers an array of pain management tools. Medications, epidural injections, facet joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve root blocks are just some of the methods available to treat pain.
“I not only treat the patient, but I also treat the patient’s family. I educate them to understand the problem and the different pathways we can use to alleviate the discomfort. If you’ve been told by others ‘There’s nothing we can do for you. You have to suffer through it,’ call me, because the buck stops here in my office. That pain is not in your head” expressed the doctor.
Back in 1983, she graduated with her medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in anesthesiology and pain medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Pain management is a branch of medicine employing an interdisciplinary approach to easing suffering and improving the quality of life of those living with chronic pain. A pain management specialist is a doctor who specializes in pain medicine, focusing on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of pain.
On a more personal note, Dr. Klepp is fluent in both English and Spanish.
