(Spin Digit Editorial):- New York City, May 13, 2020 (Issuewire.com) – Dr. Allegra II is a skilled rheumatologist who sees patients at Allegra Arthritis Associates, PC in Red Bank, New Jersey. He is also affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health, more specifically: Bayshore Medical Center & Riverview Medical Center. 

Riverview Medical Center is a 476-bed acute care community hospital located in Red Bank, New Jersey. Its mission is to improve the health of the community and advance medicine through clinical care, teaching, and research.

Following the completion of his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico in 1988, Dr. Allegra II relocated to the United States to further his training. Once there, he completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in rheumatology at New York Medical College.

A Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR), the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Rheumatology is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic diseases. Physicians who have undergone formal training in rheumatology are called rheumatologists. Rheumatologists treat arthritis, autoimmune diseases, pain disorders affecting joints, and osteoporosis. There are more than 200 types of these diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, lupus, back pain, osteoporosis, and tendinitis.
