Victor L. Roberts, MD, MBA, FACP, FACE, CPE, an Endocrinologist with the Endocrine Associates of Florida, P.A. in Lake Mary, Florida, was named Top Endocrinologist of the Year for 2018 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the health field. With more than 35 years of professional experience in Endocrinology, Dr. Roberts has certainly proven himself as an extraordinary professional, and expert in the field. Dr. Roberts is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success not only within his private practice with the Endocrine Associates of Lake Mary, Florida, but also as an educator, researcher, and academic volunteer.
Aside from his very busy practice, Dr. Roberts also serves as a Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Central Florida-College of Medicine, Clinical Professor of Medicine and Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Florida, Clinical Professor of Clinical Sciences at Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee. Dr. Roberts received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and he speaks multiple languages.
His internal medicine residency was at the Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., and his fellowship was in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the University of Miami in Florida. Looking back, Dr. Roberts attributes his success to his education, the mentors he had along the way, and his passion for helping his patients and their families. He says his work is very gratifying and hopes that others will consider a career in Endocrinology. When not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
