SCIENCES
UAG School of Medicine Clinical Sciences students, undergo a significant portion of their medical education in the United States. Following the completion of their basic sciences curriculum in Guadalajara, students transition to affiliated teaching hospitals in the US for their third and fourth years of study. While many students opt to continue their clinical clerkship rotations in the US, some choose to remain in Mexico to pursue these experiences. This dual opportunity provides students with diverse clinical exposure and ensures they are well-prepared for their future careers in medicine, regardless of their chosen location of practice.
The Clinical Sciences phase at UAG School of Medicine equips students with the fundamentals of clinical examination, evaluation, and patient care. Under the supervision of senior physicians, students interact with real patients, gaining hands-on experience. During this time, students refine their skills, explore residency options, and prepare for the transition to post-graduate training as future physicians.
Core Clerkship Rotations at UAG School of Medicine consist of 48 weeks of clinical training designed to teach medical students the essentials of clinical examination, patient evaluation, and care delivery.
