ACADEMIC RESOURCES
Academic resources are an essential part of any medical school. They provide students with access to the most up-to-date research, evidence-based treatment practices, and clinical guidelines. With academic resources, medical students can stay abreast of the latest developments in the field, allowing them to become the best healthcare professionals they can be. Academic resources also provide students with the tools they need to succeed in the medical school setting, such as access to research databases, library materials, online tutorials, and more. With the right academic resources, medical students will be able to reach their full potential and make a positive impact on the lives of their future patients.

AMBOSS is an online learning platform to assist you throughout your medical career. It includes a library and question bank written alongside USMLE guidelines to help students strengthen their medical knowledge and prepare them for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2.

While these exam preparations are at the core of AMBOSS, medical students, residents, and physicians can use the library as an easy-to-navigate reference tool for their clinical work.

The AMBOSS content is written by an international team of over 50 physicians, using feedback from medical students. The editorial team ensures that each article meets our highest standards of quality with respect to content, structure, and style. Entries are reviewed by at least three medical professionals and one copy editor before being published, helping us ensure the most accurate clinical content.

HMX

UAG is pleased to announce that it has formed a partnership with Harvard Medical School to offer students five online HMX courses in basic sciences created by Harvard Medical School. UAG is the first institution in Latin America to offer these courses to its students and the first in the world to do so.

The online courses offered by Harvard University were produced by professors and subject matter experts. They have the most up-to-date information in each sector, which was developed using high-quality technological tools (audio, video, and interactive sections). Students will have opportunities to communicate with the teacher and will receive frequent evaluations, among other things.

*HMX courses are not part of the curriculum and credits will not be provided.
NBME helps health professionals across the care continuum enhance and demonstrate their knowledge—both in school and while practicing. They offer a portfolio of assessment tools for every stage of the medical school journey, high-quality licensing exams, and a range of products and services for health professionals and educators. NBME produces the USMLE Steps 1, 2 & 3.

UAG’S partnership with NBME implements the assessment tools to measure students’ readiness at different levels. The integration of NBME exams will be introduced in phases. The first stage includes the Comprehensive Basic Science Examination (CBSE) and Comprehensive Clinical Science Examination (CCSE) to prequalify students to sit for the USMLE Steps 1 & 2.

CBSE and CCSE are the gold standards used by most Medical Schools in the United States to prequalify students for the Board Exams.  UAG School of Medicine  is stepping up in its commitment to generating high-quality physicians to serve communities in the USA and beyond.

Cram Fighter allows you to create a dynamic, personalized study plan for medical school and board prep- that can change as life changes - to help you manage your studying and your life throughout your medical school journey.

Cram Fighter is a study app for medical students. Cram Fighter keeps you accountable with study plans for the USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2 CK, Shelf exams, and COMLEX board exams.

Students will stay on track with a detailed study plan that shows them exactly what to study every day to get through their resources and to be prepared for the USMLE Step 1 exam and other medical board exams. If the student happens to fall behind and overdue tasks pile up, they can reorganize their study schedule on the go with the push of a button.
