The International Student Affairs Office (ISAO) provides students with administrative and educational support throughout their medical education at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, School of Medicine.

 

We have a vast number of functions all designed to assist the International Students during their Medical Education and Career. These functions vary from Financial Affairs to Immigration Services.

The International Student Affairs Office (ISAO) at UAG School of Medicine plays a crucial role in supporting international students and collaborates closely with key departments, such as the Dean's Office, the Student Success Office, and Graduate Affairs and Career Advising (GACA), to ensure comprehensive student support.

 

Through this collaboration, ISAO ensures that international students at UAG have the resources and guidance they need to thrive academically and professionally.

 

Dean's Office:
With the Dean's Office, ISAO coordinates efforts to ensure that international students meet academic and administrative requirements while also facilitating communication between students and academic leadership for a smooth transition into the medical program.

Student Success Office Collaboration:
ISAO works closely with the Student Success Office to offer tailored services that address academic, cultural, and personal challenges that international students may face. Together, they provide counseling, tutoring, and other support resources to enhance students' academic performance and well-being.
GACA Partnership
SAO collaborates with GACA to support students in their career development, offering guidance on internships, residency placements, and networking opportunities. This partnership helps students plan their professional journey while keeping them informed about licensure requirements in various countries.
