Luis Alberto Gallardo Vega, MD
Luis Gallardo is a medical doctor with a specialty in Sports Medicine. He graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in 2013 and moved to Mexico City to study the specialty in the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. While doing the specialty he worked in the medical service for different sports tournaments and teams such as American Football in the Mexican Professional American Football League and Football soccer teams. Also, he worked as a Doping Control Officer since 2016 and was part of the Comité Nacional Antidopaje in 2019. Gallardo joined UAG in 2021 following his interest in medical education. He currently has a private practice as a sports medicine doctor and works in Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas) as the General Manager of Sports Science and doctor for the First Division Team.
