EliteCare Welcomes New Doctor, Francisco Hernandez Mendez, MD.

UAG School of Medicine alumnus Dr. Francisco Hernandez Mendez joins EliteCare, ready to provide care and make a positive impact on patients' lives.

EliteCare Health Center is thrilled to announce the addition of Francisco Hernandez Mendez, M.D., a highly qualified Family Medicine physician, to their esteemed team of medical professionals. Dr. Mendez's practice is conveniently located at 8363 S. Suncoast Blvd. in Homosassa, providing accessible healthcare services to the community. 

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Mendez brings a valuable skill set that allows him to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients. His ability to bridge language barriers ensures that every individual receives personalized care and a comfortable healthcare experience.

Dr. Mendez's medical journey began at the prestigious Universidad Autonoma of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he earned his medical degree. He then went on to complete his residency in family medicine at the renowned Manati Medical Center Hospital in Manati, Puerto Rico. During his residency, he gained extensive practical experience and honed his clinical skills, preparing him to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

In his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Mendez pursued further professional development through the New York Medical College Fifth Pathway Program certification, which he successfully completed in 2008. This program provided him with valuable additional training and exposure to diverse medical settings, further enhancing his expertise and ensuring that he stays abreast of the latest advancements in the field of family medicine.

Dr. Mendez is dedicated to maintaining active involvement within the medical community. He is an associate member of the Alumni Association of New York Medical College, connecting him with a network of esteemed medical professionals. Additionally, he is a proud member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, organizations that promote excellence in family medicine and provide ongoing educational resources and support.
