Dr. Gierbolini has a diverse educational background, earning his undergraduate degree in biology from the Universidad de Puerto Rico in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Damas Hospital in 2012 and his neurology residency at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in 2015.

As a testament to his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.

On a more personal note, Dr. Gierbolini is fluent in English and Spanish.
