This abstract, developed through a collaborative effort by Alejandra Franco, Jabeen Fayyaz, Lucia Alvarez, Ennid Durán, and Kashif Adil Ahmad, highlights a faculty development program designed to support educators working in multicultural and resource-limited settings through simulation-based learning.
Presented at the IAMSE 2025 Annual Conference by Dr. Kashif Adil Ahmad, Dr. Montserrat Ezquerra Gómez, and Dr. Rodrigo Vivar Barragán, the program outlines a hybrid course built around best practices in healthcare simulation.
The initiative includes:
• Four virtual sessions from February to May 2025 covering simulation design, PEARLS debriefing, and OSCE implementation.
• A two-day in-person seminar with hands-on workshops.
• Participation from two simulation centers and a multidisciplinary team of 20 faculty members.
Assessment: Faculty feedback will be gathered through pre- and post-program surveys to evaluate satisfaction and impact.
This program reflects UAG’s continued commitment to excellence in teaching and capacity building in global medical education.
