A Distinguished Psychiatrist
Dr. Neil Berliner commenced his medical career in psychiatry in 1988 and has been in private practice in the vibrant city of New York. For over three decades, he has been a beacon of hope and support for individuals grappling with various mental health challenges. His commitment to improving the lives of his patients is both palpable and unwavering.
In 2016, Dr. Berliner took on the role of Medical Director at the "
Bridging Access to Care," a prominent mental health center in Brooklyn, New York. He began his professional comedy career by writing for none other than "The Howard Stern Show" in 1999, where he crafted humorous content for several show roasts, including those of Artie Lange and Andy Dick. He also took on the task of writing rap lyrics for Fruity Nutcake Rappin’ Granny, an elderly hip-hop artist who frequently appeared on the show.
Dr. Berliner's comedy writing prowess extended to esteemed platforms like
Comedy Central and The New York Friars Club, where he contributed to celebrity roasts. In 2013, Dr. Berliner received a prestigious invitation to write for
MAD Magazine, a significant accomplishment in the realm of humor and satire. His comedy material has graced the pages of The New York Times, The View, VH1, the New York Daily News, The New York Post's Page Six, The Village Voice, and numerous other national outlets, establishing him as a prominent figure in the comedy world.
