After much hard work and dedication, UAG medical students Joao Paulo Bounassar Filho, Laura Boeckler Troncoso, and Jocelyne Cajigas Gonzalez are thrilled to announce the publication of their research article on the oncolytic effects of SARS-CoV-2.
The article was published in the renowned scientific platform, the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, under the special issue of Oncolytic Virotherapy. This prestigious journal has an impact factor of 6.208 and is indexed in PubMed, providing great visibility for their research.
Working under the guidance of Dra. Maria Guadalupe Zavala Cerna, the three students began developing the article for last year's research day and continued to refine it until it was accepted for publication.
They are grateful to UAG for providing funding for their project and making publication possible. In particular, they extend their heartfelt thanks to Dra. Zavala for her mentorship, guidance, and unwavering support throughout the publication process.
